Moveable Feast’s annual Dining Out for Life — an annual dining fundraising event raising money for AIDS service organizations — is happening in Baltimore on September 18.
Dining Out For Life, now in its 21st year, is an annual fundraiser that encourages local residents to dine at participating restaurants and eateries who agree to donate at least 20 percent of their check total to Moveable Feast…some even donate 50percent! (LOOK! Gertrude’s, Woodberry Kitchen, Clementine, The Brewer’s Art – love them!) Last year, 57 restaurants participated to raise over $91,500 for Moveable Feast programs and service. This year, the goal is to raise $100,000.
Moveable Feast was founded in 1989 in Baltimore by a group of dedicated volunteers as a tax exempt nonprofit and is the only meal delivery program for homebound people living with AIDS and their families. Moveable Feast also provides meals to women in treatment for breast cancer, transportation services and a culinary training program.
Here is a list of the generous restaurants participating: Moveable Feast
