Baltimore is getting a Shake Shack catering specifically to Ravens Nation.
The Ravens and their in-stadium food provider, Aramark, yesterday announced the arrival of a new outpost for the East Coast burger chain, to be located right in M&T Bank Stadium. The eatery known for its solid burgers, shakes, crinkle-cut fries, hot dogs and craft beer will open tomorrow, just in time for the Ravensโ preseason kickoff against the Redskins on Thursday.
The franchise is excited enough about Shake Shackโs arrival that itโs holding a ribbon-cutting ceremony and press conference at the stadium.
The offerings wonโt be entirely unique compared to other stands in the stadium that already sell burgers, hot dogs and the like. However, the teamโs website notes it will be the only spot to grab a milkshake in the arena.
Baltimore already has one Shake Shack in the Inner Harbor that opened in 2015. However, M&T Bank Stadiumโs location will be the first one for an NFL team. Nats Stadium in D.C., the Wells Fargo Center in Philly and Citi Field in New York each their own Shake Shack as well.
For those looking to plan their first meal when the Ravens play the Skins this week, the Shake Shack is at section 109. Be prepared for a line.
