There’s no such thing as too much pizza.
An Ohio pizza chain, Marco’s, has just announced plans to open as many as 13 locations in the Baltimore area over the next three years. The chain already has stores in 36 states from California to the Carolinas; according to Pizza Today Magazine, which actually exists, it’s the 12th biggest pizza chain in the country.
As the Baltimore Business Journal points out, Marco’s joins Pie Five Pizza (which just opened five pizza joints in Maryland) and Papa Murphy’s (which plans to open as many as 50 restaurants in the greater Baltimore region) in competing for Baltimore’s pizza dollars. (We’ll probably keep eating at Two Boots, Iggies, and Matthew’s, to be honest). Someone make sure to notify this guy.
