Anne Arundel County police seized several items from an alleged gang member’s Jessup home, but included among the routine stuff — drugs, cash, etc. — was a three-foot American Alligator.
Alligators are an exotic type of contraband — they are not allowed to be kept in the home. (But who else are you going to get to swallow your “$3,000 worth of marijuana” if the cops show up?)
Animal lovers, let it be known that the alligator is “healthy” (or at least that’s how it looked to police) and has been to taken to a facility that will care for it.
