A common complaint that Johns Hopkins students have about Baltimore is the city’s lack of late-night dining options. Scratch that — it’s actually a common complaint among every college student, night owl, and midnight snacker in town. Lucky for us, a smart business has seen this hole in the market, and has rushed into fill it. Oh, Insomnia Cookies, we already love you.
According to the Baltimore Business Journal, a bakery specializing in fresh cookie delivery (!!!!) is planning to open its first Baltimore location near the corner of Charles and 33rd Streets. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the business was founded by a college student back in 2003, and has found great success with its several dozen campus-adjacent franchises since then. They even have an online cookie tracker, in case you desperately need to know exactly when your snickerdoodles will arrive.
Cookies offered include chocolate chunk, peanut butter, and double chocolate mint. If you’re not in a cookie mood, the bakery also sells brownies and ice cream. And, yes, of course they’ll deliver cold milk, too.
