Baltimore skies have been so busy lately. First, there was the mysterious Naval blimp looming over the skyline. Now, the Department of Homeland Security has announced it’ll be running a test this week in which a huge, low-flying helicopter patrols Baltimore to test for radiation. Or do they have other, more sinister plans in mind?
At about noon on Tuesday, June 12, a helicopter carrying President Barack Obama landed on the athletic fields behind the tennis courts at McDonogh School, according to the school’s website. The President was in town for a $1 million fund raiser at the Hyatt Regency downtown, but he first made a stop at a private fundraiser at the Greenspring Valley home of Josh and Genine Fidler, near McDonogh’s campus.
