And nowhere in the area has  more independent and totally unique shops than Green Spring Station– where you’re sure to find something for everyone on your list. But come December 10th, there will be even more to love about Green Spring Station. That’s because Maryland Art Place (MAP) and Green Spring Station have teamed up for MAP’s (MAP) final IMPACT project of the year. It’s a sprawling series of installations created by MICA students using actual items from the merchants of the shopping center. So when you drop by for the rest of the holiday season, you’ll be able to take in some phenomenal artwork while you shop. The installation’s opening reception will take place Thursday, December 10 from 6-8pm with complimentary bubbly and Prosecco at all shops which are staying open until 8pm.
