Not that we have any interest in starting up another Baltimore-DC feud. But… well, it’s interesting, isn’t it, that our nation’s capital was recently named the country’s most loveless city?
Actually, the study in question–done by real estate site Zillow–had a more optimistic bent; it was looking for the cities where people had the best chance of finding love. In other words, cities where people hadn’t yet found love. And nearly three-quarters of DC’s population is unmarried (!). “The study does not address the fact that Washington may have a lot of singles because it could actually be a bad place to find love,” the Washington Post notes.
Rounding out the top 5 are Atlanta, Boston, St. Louis, and Denver.
