Orioles invite children ages 9 and younger to free ballgame with paying adult

This baseball season*, adults who buy a regularly priced upper deck ticket at Oriole Park at Camden Yards can bring up to two children ages 9 and younger for free as part of the Kids Cheer Free program, the Orioles announced today.

The Baltimore Orioles and U.S. Naval Academy have formed a partnership to bring a Major League Baseball exhibition to Annapolis and an Army-Navy double-header to Oriole Park at Camden Yards, the Orioles announced today.

Colby Rasmus looking forward to new start with Orioles

SARASOTA, Fla. — The Baltimore Orioles first targeted outfielder Colby Rasmus as a potential free-agent signing more than three years ago. Manager Buck Showalter even visited Rasmus’ home in Alabama to gauge his interest in joining the Orioles.

That visit has finally paid off.

Rasmus signed a minor league contract with the Orioles Feb. 21, and the left-handed hitting outfielder remembers Showalter’s visit.
