Sour Fest! June 10-12 at Max’s Taphouse Fells Point

Max’s Taphouse will be hosting their (newly) annual Sour Fest on June 10th – 12th, 2022 – quickly approaching in just a few days! The taphouse, located at 737 S. Broadway, will open at 11:30am daily to serve patrons the juiciest sour beers available. There is no cover/fee for the event.

In preparation of the event, Max’s has acquired 75 kegs along with a few cans to highlight the art of sour beers. These vary in style from lighter sour ales and goses to heavily fruited sours. Roughly one-third of the featured beers are from Maryland breweries, in an effort to encourage patrons to drink local. Customers can sample sours in 5oz, 10oz or 14oz pours.

Associated Black Charities returns with A Night to Remember

Associated Black Charities (ABC) is thrilled to announce the return of their in-person fundraising gala on Friday, June 10th. For the first time in three years ABC staff, supporters and sponsors will gather to uplift their work towards closing the racial wealth gap in Maryland. Long-time attendees of the yearly gala will find themselves at a brand-new venue, as the event will take place on the Baltimore waterfront at the Sagamore Spirit distillery campus in Port Covington.
